An introduction to this class

In motherhood we so often put our self care last

Katie will teach you how to change this. When we are nourished, we can show up as our best selves for our children, partners, and ourselves

Do you want to raise happy, healthy, resilient children? Of course you do! But getting there doesn't always feel easy

We're with you, mama. As moms in particular, we play a key role in influencing our children’s nervous system and how they will perceive and interact with the world around them… for life! Katie's got you. You'll walk away from this class feeling more than empowered

This class will focus on:

  • Understanding how our Nervous System (Polyvagal Theory) influences how we show up + interact with our children

  • Age-appropriate tools we can share with our LOs (and help during meltdowns)

  • Tips for creating routines that empower your child

  • Exploring simple, powerful tools to nourish your Nervous System

  • Creating an inspiring, sustainable self-care routine for yourself!

Our children begin co-regulating with us at 6 weeks in utero… and in case you didn’t catch it… they WATCH EVERY THING YOU DO

This means it’s absolutely essential that we are nourished so we can: be present, lead by example, and respond to challenges in a healthy way. The irony is that the formative years, when we are fostering their foundation, are also usually the most challenging as a parent. Being a conscious parent is not synonymous with being perfect...so take a deep breath! Just as much as we are here to guide our children, they are our teachers too. We will make mistakes, but what our children will remember is how we handle them and make them feel. When we are nourished, we can show up as our best selves for our children, partners, and ourselves!

As a Highly Sensitive Soul, being given the gift of meditation and breathwork as a child from my mom helped me immensely during challenging times, and to stay connected with my intuition and strengths. Understanding how valuable these simple, powerful tools are is what inspired my mission from a young age to share these with others… specifically to empower moms to nourish their nervous systems, to connect with their inner-peace and intuitive wisdom, in order to raise thriving, resilient children. I am a bit of a nervous system nerd and love psychophysiology - I find our evolution fascinating! This is probably why I am so passionate about helping to raise consciousness.
