Ready to invest in yourself and your family?

You're in the right place. Hygge is appreciating what you have and extending generosity to those around you. It’s a commitment to self-compassion - celebrating where you’ve been, where you are right now, and where you’re going.

This class will focus on:

  • What hygge means and its emphasis on gathering & togetherness

  • How meaningful connection supports the motherhood journey, the family’s overall wellness, and aids in mental health resiliency

  • Developing a personal practice of hygge and its overlap with mindfulness

  • What a family lifestyle of hygge looks like and practical ways to begin integrating these choices.

  • How to organically invite young children to hygge (specifically in preschool and pre-elementary years)

  • Establishing hygge traditions: how practicing hygge values shapes family time with intentionality, with suggested areas where you might develop traditions and routines

  • Why gathering is the heart of hygge

  • Ways to craft home as a place to be together: creating gathering spaces within the home

  • How to be present, inclusive and welcoming

Kim Morrison

Hygge discovered Kim as she healed from a dark season of postpartum depression and anxiety. Practicing hygge helps her slow down and embrace belonging to the moment, and she loves helping others create calm in their own lives. Kim founded The Hygge Gathering where she specializes in crafting bespoke, intimate gatherings for women to find meaningful connection and community. She currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her two young, curious, wild boys. The principles of hygge make Kim's home a warm, cozy place for her family and friends-- and she hopes it will for yours, too.
